The HAM Program
The HAM program is an alternative sentence or condition of probation for use in the sentencing of DUI, reckless driving and related offenses. There will be a Hospital and Morgue class. To register for the HAM program, you must visit a CRSA office with your court paperwork, your ID and a small administrative fee.
Caltrans
Caltrans is a Court Ordered Program, that was established in 1973 and has provided Courts, Probation and Judicial Officers with a viable option of community service. Caltrans is roadside trash pickup, but may include helping with irrigation projects, it is physical labor.
Community Service
Community service is usually work done within non-profits organizations and parks in our communities. This service has flexible work hours and helps the community with volunteer work. A court order for defendants who have been ordered by the Courts to perform community service as part of their sentence, or in lieu of paying a fine.
Community Labor/Graffiti Removal
Community Labor/Graffiti Removal is a physical form of work, for example Parks and Recreation Department. It involves cleaning, trash pickup and can include graffiti removal and street maintenance. The work schedules are designed by the organization in 8-hour days.
