organization
A-Z Community Resources is a Community Service Referral Agency (CSRA), certified through the Development of Authority Traffic Administration Services of Los Angeles County. We have 25 years of experience serving as a nonprofit corporation, 501©(3).
A-Z Community Resources provides community service to court defendants who are ordered to complete a court-ordered number of hours of Community Service, Caltrans, Labor, or the HAM program in lieu of paying a fine or facing incarceration.
Our services assist clients with court-approved worksites and match them with appropriate work schedules and locations. We partner with state and local agencies, community-based agencies, and faith-based organizations. We have aided clients throughout the City of Compton, City of Gardena, City of Inglewood, City of Lynwood, City of Southgate, City of Long Beach, City of Bellflower, and throughout the City of Los Angeles. Our motto is “HOW CAN I HELP YOU”.

Questions you will need to Know:
How do I sign up for community Service?
If you have been ordered by the Court to perform community service and were not assigned by the judge or Probation Department to a specific agency, you must contact a Community Service Referral Agency from the CRSA List. Please bring a picture ID and your court documents.
Where can I complete my community service?
The CSRA office will refer you to one of their partnering Service Providers and take into consideration your availability and your location when assigning you to a service provider. All assigned worksite referrals are based on the court order, by the Courts.
How do I get an extension for my community service?
If you have signed up with an approved CSRA office, contact that agency. If you have not signed up with an approved CSRA, you can contact the Court that referred you to community service for an extension.
Is it possible for me to complete my community service hours with a certain nonprofit?
Speak with a CSRA to find out whether they have partnered with the company. You have to do your community service through an authorized CSRA unless the Court has given you formal authorization to work through a different non-profit organization.
How can I file a complaint or report a problem with my community service?
If you have any complaints or problems during your community service, please get in touch with the community service referral organization that paired you with a service provider.

She treated me with respect, and I enjoyed my days being there. I never liked cleaning, but she taught me how to clean and feel good about my work.

I have never been to Watts in Los Angeles, and I was told it was a scary place. I registered for WLCAC, and I worked in the museum area. I got a job there, and I thank the community service office for sending me there. (Jose M. – 7/18/23)

The registration process was fast and very easy; they explained all my community service options. I don’t know why I waited so long. I would recommend the community service office in Compton to everyone, and their price was the lowest.(Nina S. – 8/12/22)

If I ever get a ticket again, I know where I’m going: A-Z Community Resources. I had a DUI, and the staff helped me through the HAM program process and scheduled me for community labor work on weekends. They also helped me get an extension. If you ever need help, the office in Compton can help you with the process.
